What Should I Bring With Me For An Investment Banking Interview?

So these days, you don"t even need to bring your CV with you physically to the interview because most likely you will have emailed it, post it etc, etc to the interviewer before. They interview you anyway.÷  The general advice is don"t bring anything with you to the interview perhaps other than a pen. You don"t really need anything else. On top of your wallet, your phone etc. what I used to do and it always either impressed or kind of put÷  a funny note to the interviewer is just a A5 piece of paper, with like 4 or 5 questions that I wanted to ask the interviewer.

Most likely, at the end of an interview, the interviewer will ask you do you have any questions for me and if you kind of have a little piece of paper where you have jotted down a few questions, even if you can remember them by heart, it does prove to the interviewer that you have actually prepared for the interviewer and the interview rather than just coming up with questions that pop out of your mind.

That"s certainly caused a few very positive remarks in my times! Obviously don"t overdo it by pulling out a notepad or, even worse, a tape/mp3 recorder! Make sure it comes across as genuine, not nerdy or I-am-trying-to impress kind of guy!

Good luck for the interview!
